I don't like to follow traditional paths. I am not one to copy or write somone's poem with the exact same form, or mimic a picture. I believe in a "handwriting philosophy" when it comes to art. Each person's handwriting is different, and that is what makes each expression of handwriting so wonderful and free and open to interpretation -- even the messiest handwriting. There is no rule. Just handwriting. Which brings me to calligraphy. Calligraphy is supposed to be fun, not so serious. Each character is alive. When I create calligraphy I want to write whatever I feel and express myself in my way. It is an instinctive desire or impulse to release what is in my heart --- a giant experiment of freedom.
I hope you enjoy it.

I don't paint landscapes, I don't paint apples, and I don't mimic the physical world. I fight to paint with spiritual eyes - not physical ones - when encountering the challenge of creating art from nothing. Painting is battle. IT is an instinctive desire or impulse to release from heart --- experiment of freedom.
Life is a painful as well as Life is a beautiful. In this world, people are getting indifferent to others. I believe that we all are connected with each other. To create art, I myself must be moved by it first and have a strong determination and conviction. Art is life itself. Art can't be imitation, IT has to be innovation to find joy. Daily life always turns to art. Creating art is to mold humanity and to establish spirituality. In the process it is about developing one-self.
"Before an artist, be a human being!"
